DO WE REALLY NEED MORE OF GOD Ken Ham, of Answers in Genesis and CEO of the ARK Encounter wrote the following article and posted it on Twitter. I think the article is timely and pertinent for today… this is why I’m posting it to our Website.

“A Fox News host asked a panel this week, “Do we need more God in our communities?”
If I had been on that panel, my answer would have been: No, we don't need more God in our communities, we need God! The crisis in America is a spiritual and moral one. This culture has... raised up generations of godless people through the public education system, colleges & universities & an anti-God media, all bent on rejecting Christianity & adopting the religion of atheistic naturalism.
People don't need more God, they need the true God, the God of the Bible, the God against whom we sinned in Adam. The God who provided the gift of salvation through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ. The God who owns us and has the right to tell us what is right and wrong. People need to turn from their godless ways and repent of their sin before a Holy God and receive the free gift of salvation. People don't need more God, they need God.
The more generations are indoctrinated to reject the absolute authority of the Word of God and believe they are their own god, the more we will see anarchy, like the time when... "Everyone did what was right in his own eyes." (Judges 21:25. The more we see a culture sacrificing their children to the god of self by abortion, and perverting God's design for sex & marriage, the more we will see God withdrawing the restraining influence of the Holy Spirit as in Romans 1:24, " Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts." And the more we see much of the church & many of its institutions (colleges/seminaries) compromising God's Word beginning in Genesis & changing doctrine to appease the perverse... culture, and accommodate their immoral ways (Gay "Marriage," abortion etc.), the more such a lukewarm church will not impact the culture with light but spread contamination.
The culture doesn't need more God--no, the culture needs God!
